Context
I worked on this project from August 2023 to October 2023. On this Unity project, I mainly contributed to improving the HUD and the character selection menu, which required an additional layer of polish. I also developed a small tool leveraging DoTween to enhance the game’s juiciness and streamline its integration.
I work closely with the designer in charge of the UX in order to make the best feedback possible for the player.
The game is published by Ankama.

Gameplay
This game is a top-down arena brawler inspired by Super Smash Bros.
Each match is played over a set number of rounds. At the end of the match, the player with the highest score wins.
Just like in Smash Bros, characters fight using attacks, dashes, and special abilities — but there’s a twist: after every few rounds, each player gets to choose a boost.
Boosts can modify gameplay in various ways — for example, enhancing your dash, empowering your attacks, or simply increasing your stats. The player in last place chooses their boost first, keeping the competition tight and exciting until the very last round!
Core Mechanics:
- Attack - Every character can perform basic attacks.
- Dash - Every character can quickly dash to evade or reposition.
- Special - Each character can charge and unleash a unique special ability.
- Boost - Temporary upgrades that enhance abilities, stats, or add new effects.
- God - When a round drags on too long, a divine entity appears and unleashes devastating attacks to push the battle to its climax!
